Thousands of pilgrims flocked to the Perfume Pagoda on the outskirts of
Ha Noi yesterday, as one of the nation''s biggest festivals was
officially opened.
Organisers of the country''s longest festival, the
Huong (Perfume) Pagoda Festival, expect to reap the benefits of recent
improvements made to appeal to more tourists.
The Huong (Perfume) pagoda in Ha Noi''s suburban district of My Ðuc opened on the sixth day of the Lunar New Year (January 28), attracting tens of thousands of people from across the country.
